Auburn, NY- District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci announced today that ANTOINE CLARK, 39, of the Rochester, New York pled guilty to two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, both Class C Armed Violent Felonies, in Cayuga County Court before the Honorable Thomas G. Leone last week.
The charges arose when CLARK and his co-defendant, Zachariah MCKOY, fired at each other during an argument outside of Lavish Lounge Bar and Restaurant on June 26, 2022. An employee was caught in the crossfire and was shot multiple times causing serious physical injury. CLARK pled guilty to possession of a 9 mm pistol used during that incident. The case against MCKOY is still pending.
Approximately one month later, in July of 2022, members of the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force located CLARK in the City of Auburn and recovered a 9 mm pistol from his person. CLARK admitted in Court last week to knowingly possessing that 9 mm pistol from July of 2023.
CLARK is scheduled to be sentenced on August 31, 2023. He faces a determinate term of imprisonment of 15 years followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
The case was handled by District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci.
